Yes, a small version of it. Company email, managed laptops, security and backup are much easier to set up at the start than to fix later.
Both work well. Microsoft 365 Business Premium also includes device management and security in the same plan. If your team already uses Gmail and Google Drive, Google Workspace is a good fit.
Microsoft keeps the service running, but its retention is limited. To get back email deleted months ago, or files hit by ransomware, you need a separate backup.
