About this plan

Exchange Online (Plan 1) is Microsoft’s standalone hosted email plan for businesses that want professional email on their own domain without a full Microsoft 365 suite. Each user gets a 50 GB mailbox with calendar, contacts, and tasks, accessible through Outlook on the web, desktop, and mobile.

Built-in anti-malware and anti-spam filtering protect the tenant, and mailboxes sit on the same Exchange platform used by the full Microsoft 365 suites, so upgrading to Business Basic or Standard later is a licence change rather than a migration.
