The DS225+ is Synology's current 2-bay Plus-series desktop NAS, built around a quad-core Intel Celeron J4125 (2.0 GHz base, 2.7 GHz turbo) with 2 GB of DDR4 memory expandable to 6 GB. It pairs a 2.5GbE port with a 1GbE port and delivers up to 282/217 MB/s sequential read/write.
Two hot-swappable bays take 3.5-inch SATA HDDs or 2.5-inch SATA SSDs, with Btrfs and ext4 internal file systems and support for Synology Hybrid RAID, RAID 0, and RAID 1.
